From Prince Hassan camp to the Badia: the places where the idea gathered its pieces.
Al-Huras and the camp
The idea of Al-Huras was born from the hope and pain that live in the refugee camps, and from their aspirations for a better future — a “better” that depends on return and liberation, built on construction and progress.
Al-Huras truly acknowledges that the camp — its misery and its smile, and its fortune in Jordan as a people, a land and a leadership — has produced all these elements as a state that can be built on to move forward toward making a new history: joyful, cohesive and meaningful.
“From Prince Hassan camp (Al-Nasr), through Al-Mahatta camp, Gaza camp, Al-Wehdat camp, Talbieh camp, Baqa’a camp, Zarqa camp and Irbid camp, the idea gathered its pieces; Al-Ais, Rakin, Al-Mughayyir, Hawwara, Al-Shouneh and the Badia adorned it with a sash of courage and love; and together they all guard a present that sees our past and our future as one bridge to our vision and mission.
